Get ready with complete Enthusiasm for Serene Cambodia. Once you arrive, you will meet our tour guide and driver to transfer to the hotel to check in. Siem Reap is a city located in the northwest part of Cambodia. Once the seat of power for the great Khmer Empire, this location is home to the most ornate temples and is the most popular tourist site for those taking a tour of Cambodia. The balance of the day will be free at your leisure.

After breakfast, explore the ancient capital Angkor Thom, starting at the peaceful West Gate, then visit the South Gate, Bayon Temple with its iconic smiling faces, Baphuon, the royal palace Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the forest-hidden Preah Palilay, where you may witness monks offering blessings. Continue to Ta Prohm, the jungle-covered temple made famous by Tomb Raider, then visit the majestic Angkor Wat, a UNESCO site known for its vast bas-reliefs and beauty. End the day with a sunset at Bakheng Hill, offering panoramic views of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap.

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Phnom Kulen, Cambodia’s holiest mountain and a sacred pilgrimage site. Pass through villages, rice fields, and jungles on the way up. Visit Preah Ang Thom, home to a 17m-long reclining Buddha carved into a giant boulder. Continue to the river of 1000 Lingas, where sacred carvings are etched into the riverbed. Explore the tiered waterfalls, once used by royals, and enjoy the natural beauty and spiritual atmosphere.

After breakfast, visit Chong Kneas floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, where homes, schools, and shops float and move with the seasons. Optional visit to the Gecko Environment Centre to learn about the lake’s vital role in Cambodian life. Then travel overland to Phnom Penh (approx. 6 hours), passing through 3 provinces. Stop at Kampong Thom for a short break and visit Skun District, famous for its edible spiders, traditionally used as medicine. Arrive in Phnom Penh and check into your hotel.

After breakfast check out and take the memories of the last 5 days along, get transferred to the Phom Penh International Airport for your return journey to your hometown.
